San Se (Share), Inc. is designed as a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization to raise funds for charitable organizations serving the needs of vulnerable and exploited peoples throughout the world. Originally set up in 2008 to support Wildflower Home Foundation in Chiang Mai, Thailand, its support has since extended to organizations in Vietnam who help others to improve the quality of life for future generations. Our funding priorities include projects which serve women and children and build individual and community self-sufficiency. It is at the discretion of the Board of Directors as to which projects will be funded.
San Se, (Share), Inc. supports the following project:
Wildflower Home Foundation in Chiang Mai, Thailand provides safe shelter, education, health, and other services to young single mothers who are either pregnant or have very young children with the aim of helping them achieve self sufficiency. This target population faces many forms of discrimination and disempowerment due to their status as women, as poor, as pregnant out-or-wedlock, and for many, as indigenous people. They are often socially stigmatized and economically challenged, and those from indigenous communities face additional discrimination and violations of their human rights. By supporting them during a particularly vulnerable time in their lives and providing tools to help them achieve self-sufficiency, Wildflower Home increases these women’s opportunities to receive fair employment, protects them from medical risks, and increases their chances to compete in a society that discriminates against indigenous peoples.
